This keepsake box is the perfect size to hold those small mementos a child receives for his or her First Communion. The keepsake box is made of mahogany wood and has a laser cut design on the cover of the box. The design features a host suspended over the chalice with grapes falling down the side of the chalice a metaphor for the wine used in Communion. The words "My First Holy Communion" are included on the cover making the box a special gift for this important occasion in the life of the child. The Communion keepsake box measures 2-1/2" across and 4" long and features a velvet lined bottom so remembrances places in the box will not get scraped or scratched.

The box can be given to either a boy or girl and can be given by itself or you could include a special rosary, saint medal or other small remembrance in the box as an added gift.
